Information
About the Walks
Foxton is a charming small town just off State Highway 1; 20 kms north of Levin and 37 kms south west of Palmerston North. There are cafes, boutique shops and much more all within easy walking distance of each other. Foxton beach, a safe, beautiful recreational beach is a mere 5 kms from the township.
Each 45-minute walk is suitable for anyone able to walk up to 2 km over flat and at times uneven terrain beside the Manawatu river.
We gather outside the library building adjacent to the Windmill on Main Street Foxton. Our walk ends back at the same place which is close to bus stops and cafes.
$25 (NZD) per person over 5 years. All children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Payment is taken on site 15 minutes prior to commencement of the guided walk by mobile eftpos machine accepting debit and credit cards. Receipts can be emailed to the purchaser.
